Step 1: Ingredients for Making PaniPuri

Here is what you need for making panipuri recipe

1 cup flour or maida

4 cups of water.

2 tbsp oil or ghee

Salt as per taste

Oil/Ghee for frying

For seasoning the batter:

3 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp cumin powder

¼ tsp red chilli powder

½ tsp turmeric powder

Mix all the above spices together well.

Step 2: How to Prepare PaniPuri Ingredients?

To prepare the ingredients for the panipuri recipe, first take a mixing bowl and mix all the dry ingredients together. Mix them well so that there are no lumps present.

Next, heat up the oil/ghee in a pan. When the oil is hot enough, pour some amount into the mixing bowl containing the dry ingredients. Start stirring the ingredients well until they start forming a dough-like consistency. Make sure that the ingredients don’t stick to each other. Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes before proceeding further.

Puri recipe for panipuri:

  1. Take 1 cup of rava and 2 tablespoons of maida in a large bowl.
  2. Crumble the rava, add three tablespoons of oil, and mix until moist.
  3. Now add 1/4 cup of hot water and begin kneading.
  4. The dough should be formed after 5 to 8 minutes of kneading.
  5. Stir in water as necessary and knead the dough until smooth and soft.
  6. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
  7. Continue kneading for 2 more minutes after 20 minutes.

Panipuri is an amazing snack food that comes with a unique taste. It has been popularly served at parties and festivals across India. Panipuri is basically a deep fried ball made out of lentil flour and water. The outer layer gets crispy while the inside remains soft and chewy.
